About Leadership in Action: Serving the Bar Association
When I took on the role of RCBA Secretary, I knew we needed to improve our daily work environment. Take the crèche renovation as an example: the facility was in poor shape, but instead of using public funds, I reached out to partners who shared our vision. We completely modernised the space at no cost to the association or the PWD. This is the kind of practical, transparent change I push for every single day.
Leadership in a legal institution is about more than holding a title, it is about stewardship. My role as the Secretary of the Rohini Court Bar Association is rooted in the belief that when the association is transparent and welfare-oriented, the entire legal fraternity thrives.
Building Through Collaboration
My approach focuses on leveraging community support to improve infrastructure. It was a space that had been neglected for years, yet we transformed the crèche into a modern facility without burdening the bar’s funds. By collaborating with external partners who believe in our cause, we turned a vision into reality.
Fostering Community and Tradition
Beyond infrastructure, I believe in honouring our values and our history. Whether it is organising Independence Day celebrations that bring the Bar and Bench together, or commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, these events are crucial for keeping our community connected. They provide a platform where senior judges, district officials, and young advocates can interact in an environment of mutual respect.
A Commitment to Transparency
My goal for the RCBA is simple: to make it the most powerful and transparent association in Delhi. Whether we are discussing judicial interactions, improving chamber economics, or supporting young associates, everything is driven by the principle of 'WE'. This isn't just about managing court affairs, it is about setting a standard where every advocate feels supported, heard, and proud to belong to this fraternity.
