The Modern Lawyer: Practical Legal Advice for Delhi
I’m Mohit Gautam. I handle legal matters in Delhi courts without the movie-style drama or complex jargon. Just straight talk, clear strategies, and actual solutions.
A quick look at my day, from working on case files in my office to being out for court appearances. I use a mix of traditional methods and modern tools to stay efficient and connected with my clients.
Even with a busy schedule, I believe in finding moments for myself. This is just a glimpse of my workspace where I prepare for cases, draft documents, and plan the best strategy for your dispute resolution.
A professional but friendly approach is what I bring to the table. When you're dealing with a legal issue, it helps to have an advocate you can trust and communicate with easily.
About The Modern Lawyer
Most legal disputes in Delhi drag on for years because people jump straight to litigation without exploring faster routes. If you are dealing with a family, property, or commercial conflict, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) like mediation or arbitration allows you to resolve things privately and significantly faster than traditional court hearings.
Nobody wants to spend their life waiting for hearings. I have watched enough people age while waiting for court dates to know that there is almost always a better way to handle your dispute.
Why ADR Matters
If you have a fight—whether it is family, property, or money—you do not always need a courtroom tamasha (drama). Mediation helps in family disputes by keeping things private and amicable, while arbitration offers a solid, binding resolution for commercial conflicts without the public scrutiny of a trial. My approach is to help you pick the path that saves your time, money, and sanity.
How I Work
My practice covers Delhi’s major courts including Tis Hazari, Rohini, and Karkardooma. I don’t just file papers; I offer a strategy.
- Legal Notice Drafting: For arbitration, I handle the Section 21 notice, dispatch it via Registered Speed Post, and include a 30-minute strategy session to ensure we are targeting the right outcome from day one.
- Mediation Representation: I provide physical representation for up to 4 sessions in Delhi District Courts, including the drafting of the Settlement Deed if we find a middle ground.
- Commercial Arbitration: For business conflicts, I handle everything from the Statement of Claim to the final arguments before the Arbitrator, covering up to 6 hearings within Delhi NCR.
Real Talk
Law isn't magic, and I won't sugarcoat the process. Sometimes, the court is the only way, but often, a well-negotiated settlement is the smarter win. My job is to tell you exactly what is possible and what is not, so you can stop running around and actually move on.
