About Civil Litigation
Real Talk About Civil Disputes
When a civil dispute pops up, I get how it feels – ek orr klesh suru ho gaya (another headache has started). I won’t sugarcoat things or play up courtroom drama. My job is to guide you straight through the twists of the Indian legal system and lay out what’s actually doable.
What I Handle
I deal with all sorts of non-criminal matters:
- Property dispute resolution – ownership fights, possession tussles, partition issues, all that.
- Breach of contract legal action – if someone’s not sticking to the deal, I help you take action.
- Recovery of money – chasing what you’re owed.
- General civil suits – anything else that needs a legal push.
Family Matters & Sensitive Cases
A lot of civil stuff gets personal. I handle divorce (mental cruelty and more), maintenance fights, dowry and alimony issues – all with a serious, no-nonsense approach.
Where You’ll Find Me
Mostly, I’m in Delhi courts – Delhi High Court, Karkardooma, Tis Hazari, Rohini, and a bunch of tribunals. That’s my daily grind.
My Approach: Seedhi Baat
I’m a first-gen lawyer, so I keep things practical. Kanoon (law) is there, but you need street smarts to work through it. I’ll keep you updated, break it down simply, and not make fake promises. My team and I pitch in to give your case proper attention.
Mediation – Not Just Court Battles
Sometimes, fighting it out isn’t worth it. If there’s a chance to settle through mediation for civil disputes, I’ll talk you through it. It’s often quicker and way less stressful.

My Story
So, I’m Mohit Gautam – first-gen lawyer, no fancy suits or big cars, just me, my files, and the Delhi courts from Rohini to Tis Hazari. My ‘Happy New Year’ is more like ‘Happy New Bare Act’! Between court runs, metro rides, and late-night city lights, I find time for my family (and yes, my English in Instagram posts for my sister is hilarious). Sometimes life feels lonely, but I’m all about self-care and gratitude. Sit alone, you’ll get your answers.
My Work
Legal Services in Delhi Courts - I handle criminal bail matters, family disputes like mental cruelty divorce cases and false dowry case defence, civil, and arbitration.
Explaining Law Simply - No big legal words. I break down the law in Hindi-English mix so you get it. Simple legal explanation, always.
Showing the Real Side - Law is for your protection, but you gotta be smart. Especially in family fights, things get ugly. I show the reality.
Pro Bono & Justice - I believe in giving back. One pro bono case at a time, because justice should be for everyone.
