Building Your Defense in Criminal Cases
A legal case is not won in the courtroom alone. It starts with the files, the facts, and a brutally honest strategy.
The real work happens long before we enter the courtroom. Here I am digging into law books and case files to build a strong foundation for a case.
Late nights in the chamber are common. I believe in thorough research and preparation, studying legal texts to find every possible advantage for my client.
Preparing legal documents and vakalatnamas at my desk in the Karkardooma District Court. Every detail matters when building a defense.
Being an advocate is a responsibility I take seriously. This video shows me preparing case notes and attending a Bar Council of Delhi event.
In my office at the Shahdara Bar Association, where I strategize and prepare for upcoming trials and hearings.

About Building Your Defense
Many clients think the lawyer's job starts at the hearing. It doesn't. When we build your defense, I spend hours reviewing FIR details, verifying police complaints, and cross-referencing law books before we even file a single paper. If there is a loophole or a point of weakness, we find it here in the chamber, not when the judge is looking at us.
Success in a criminal trial is 90 percent preparation. When you come to me, we do not just walk into the courtroom and hope for the best. We sit down and dismantle the case against you, point by point.
My process for building your defense covers several critical stages:
FIR and Evidence Review
Everything starts here. I personally review the FIR, police complaints, and charge sheets. If the evidence is shaky, we find those cracks early. We verify every document and piece of evidence to ensure your defense is solid.
Strategic Bail Planning
Whether it is an anticipatory bail or a regular bail application in the Sessions Court, the filing has to be precise. We draft petitions that highlight the facts clearly, ensuring the court sees the grounds for relief immediately. I also handle the coordination for surety and bond formalities so you are not left guessing after the order is passed.
Trial Representation
If the case goes to trial, my team (Team F 225) and I prepare for the long haul. This includes:
- Framing of charges
- Cross-examination of prosecution witnesses
- Production of our own defense witnesses
- Final arguments
I handle cases across Delhi courts, from the Delhi High Court to Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, and Patiala House. I do not sugar-coat the reality of the situation. I tell you exactly where you stand, what the risks are, and how we can fight to protect your rights. When you work with me, you get the combined effort of my team, ensuring we are prepared for every challenge.
