Guest Lectures & Law Career Mentorship
I bridge the gap between law textbooks and real-world courtroom practice through interactive seminars, moot court judging, and career guidance.
Serving as a judge at an Intra Moot Court Competition in Gurugram. It is inspiring to see the sharp legal minds of the next generation in action.
A glimpse of an interactive session with the dynamic law students of K.R. Mangalam University. Their enthusiasm to learn about the legal profession was truly commendable.
About Engaging with Future Lawyers
When I judge a moot court or walk into a law school auditorium, I'm not just there to deliver a speech. I look for the students who think on their feet, the ones who aren't just reciting sections but are actually understanding the logic behind them. My goal is to show you that the law isn't just about reading cases; it's about navigating the messy reality of the legal system with confidence.
Too many students graduate without knowing how to actually handle a client interaction, face a police officer, or think like a practitioner. I started writing my own CLAT books because I saw a gap in how aspirants were being prepared, and I carry that same philosophy into my guest lectures.
Whether it is a moot court competition or a career seminar, I focus on practical skills. We discuss the transition from the classroom to the courtroom, the reality of life as an advocate, and how to stay ethical in a competitive field. My sessions are interactive, open to hard questions, and strictly no-fluff.
What I cover in university sessions:
- Career Navigation: Practical advice on how to start in the legal profession beyond just the big internships.
- Moot Court Judging: Providing feedback that goes beyond procedure, focusing on strategy and argumentation.
- Legal Awareness: Simplifying complex new criminal laws so they are easy to grasp for students.
I treat these interactions as a responsibility. If I can help one student realize that the law is a tool for justice and not just a path to a paycheck, I consider the session successful.
