Intimate events are all about comfort, joy, and being yourself. I help you choose outfits that let you move freely and feel beautiful without the wedding day drama.

My intimate mehendi at home was an emotional and happy night. I chose this comfy and vibrant pink printed suit with statement earrings, allowing me to dance and enjoy the surprise party my friends threw.

This floral printed indo-western set is a fantastic option for a mehendi function. It's modern, comfortable, and the bright colors look amazing in photos, plus it's easy to move around in.

A happy shot from my mehendi night. The simple styling with bold earrings and loose hair was intentional, keeping the focus on the intricate henna and the joyous occasion.

For a Sundarkand Path, we chose coordinated outfits in a unique rust color. My sharara suit in a shimmery 'Jimmy Choo' fabric felt special yet appropriate for the prayer ceremony.

Sharing a laugh during our Mata Ki Chowki. My heavily embroidered Anarkali in mustard and maroon felt festive and traditional, perfect for our first pre-wedding function.

A simple, elegant look for a visit to my ancestral home. This handcrafted light blue suit with a contrasting yellow dupatta is perfect for daytime events or more casual wedding-related functions.

A detail shot of my Sundarkand Path outfit. The intricate silver embroidery and pearl choker add a touch of elegance to the modern sharara suit, showing how accessories can complete a look.

The back view of my puja outfit, showing off the beautiful braided hairstyle adorned with fresh flowers. It's a great way to add a traditional touch to any look.

A sweet couple moment from our pre-wedding puja. Our coordinated rust-colored outfits created a warm, harmonious look that was perfect for the intimate, traditional setting.

A black and white photo that captures the emotion of our pre-wedding ceremony. The focus is on our connection, enhanced by our complementary traditional attire.

About Mehendi & Intimate Functions

When styling for a home mehendi or puja, I always tell my clients to prioritize breathability and movement. You should be able to sit comfortably for hours without adjusting your dupatta every five minutes. For these intimate settings, I focus on lightweight fabrics like soft cottons or silks that look elegant in close-up photos but do not feel heavy or restricted.

Small gatherings like your Mehendi, Mata Ki Chowki, or Sunderkand Path are special because they are authentic. You are not performing for a crowd, so your outfit should not feel like a costume.

Practical Tips for Home Ceremonies

  • Prioritize Movement: You will be sitting on the floor, dancing, or moving between guests. Avoid heavy zardosi or stiff can-can lehengas that make you feel like a statue. Opt for shararas, Anarkalis, or draped sarees that allow you to move naturally.
  • Fabric Choices Matter: I love working with Jimmy Choo fabric, soft crepes, and breathable organza for daytime or intimate evening events. These fabrics drape well and photograph beautifully without needing excessive embroidery.
  • The Power of Accessories: When the outfit is simpler, use your accessories to tell the story. A pair of heirloom jhumkas or a simple pearl choker can do more for your look than heavy embellishments.
  • Coordinated Couple Looks: Even for a small puja at home, coordinating your color palette with your partner creates a sense of harmony in photos. We do not need matching prints, but matching the tone and warmth of your outfits makes a huge difference.

I help you source these hidden gems in Delhi markets or guide you on how to upcycle what you already have. Your goal should be to look back at these photos and remember how you felt, not just what you wore.
