About My Story
Sharing my own journey on Josh Talks taught me that vulnerability is what truly connects us. When you book a session with me, you’re not just hiring a photographer; you’re inviting someone into your space who understands the anxiety, the joy, and the overwhelming love of raising a child, which helps me capture those fleeting, honest expressions that you’ll cherish forever.
From Personal Journey to Professional Passion
For the longest time, I was terrified to open up about my journey. It took me three months of contemplation before I finally shared my pregnancy story online. I was worried about the judgment, but the response was overwhelming. Realizing that my struggles resonated with so many other moms gave me the courage to continue being authentic—both in my life and in my work.
Why I Shoot the Way I Do
My approach to photography is simple: I capture life as it happens. I don't use studio lights or stiff, awkward poses because I know that’s not how real life feels. Whether we are shooting a maternity session at a local park during golden hour or capturing a messy, beautiful birthday at home, my goal is to keep things relaxed.
