About Candid Family & Sibling Portraits
I intentionally set my sessions for 90 to 120 minutes because I know that with kids, the best moments usually happen when they stop worrying about the camera. We skip the heavy studio lights and forced poses; instead, I focus on capturing your real family dynamic in the soft, natural light of your home or a favorite local park where you feel relaxed.
My Approach to Family Portraits
I believe the best photos aren't staged—they happen when you’re busy being a family. Whether it’s a sibling pillow fight, a quiet morning in your living room, or a golden hour walk in a Delhi or Kolkata park, I am there to document the raw, unfiltered connections.
What to Expect From a Session
- No Studios: I don't use artificial studio setups. I rely entirely on ambient, natural light to keep the mood cozy and authentic.
- Comfort First: Pregnancy and parenting are exhausting. I make sure everyone is relaxed so that when we do shoot, the smiles are genuine.
- Immediate Family Focus: These sessions are designed for the immediate family unit—parents and children—to ensure we have enough time to capture those quiet, intimate bonds.
How to Prepare
- Wardrobe: I recommend wearing pastels and neutrals. These colors work best with natural lighting and keep the focus on your expressions rather than your clothes.
- Props: If you have special items you want to include, bring them along, but keep it simple. Your home, your park, your laughter—that’s the real background.
