Here I am with the finished resin beach nameplate for a lovely homestay in Goa. The design combines a natural wood slice with a glossy resin ocean wave, complete with tiny houses and real shells. It’s the perfect welcome for a coastal home.

Buzzing with happiness for this 'B Hive' nameplate. I designed this for a family whose names all start with 'B'. The large wooden board features a beehive, cute bee illustrations, and all the family members' names in 3D acrylic.

About Themed Designs: Mountains, Beaches & More
I layer my resin in multiple pours to create that deep, realistic wave effect, which means every beach nameplate reflects light differently from every angle. Because I embed real seashells and sand by hand into the epoxy, no two waves ever turn out quite the same. It is a slow, messy process, but it ensures your sign captures the actual feel of the coast, not just a picture of it.
When you choose a themed nameplate, we are moving away from standard signs and into storytelling. My goal is to capture your family’s vibe right at the entrance.
The Beach Collection
For the coastal at heart, I use a high-gloss, non-yellowing epoxy resin poured over solid 18mm wood. I don't use prints; I mix pigments to create the water, add white lacing for the foam, and place real sand and shells that I have sourced or collected. It feels heavy, substantial, and permanent.
Mountain & Nature Dioramas
These are complex, 3D pieces. I hand-paint the background scenes—whether it’s a snow-capped peak or a lush valley—and build the foreground using wooden cutouts. I use 3D acrylic lettering for your family name so it pops against the landscape. These are heavy pieces, typically 14x10 inches or larger, so they create a strong, beautiful focal point for any entryway.
The 'Family Hive' & Custom Concepts
Some of my favorite projects are the themed family signs, like the 'Beehive' design. We take your family nickname or a theme that defines your home—a coffee theme for the cafe-lovers, a forest theme for nature enthusiasts—and turn it into a literal scene. I paint every branch, leaf, and bee by hand.
