Coffee-flavored popsicles styled in a dark, moody setting with scattered coffee beans. This conceptual shot is designed to be artistic and attention-grabbing.

An extreme close-up macro shot of roasted coffee beans. This image was taken to capture the intricate textures, oils, and deep colors of the beans, showcasing technical camera skill.

About Additional Work

When you look at these images, you are seeing the result of precise manual lighting and intentional prop styling. Whether it is a macro texture shot or a conceptual display, I control every element—from crumb positioning to shadow depth—using a Canon EOS R5 to ensure the final output is high-resolution, sharp, and commercially ready for menus or advertising.

This gallery serves as a technical log of my work, demonstrating the range of my photography and styling capabilities. While my daily work often focuses on strict commercial requirements for packaging or e-commerce, these images represent the exploratory side of my practice.

The Role of Macro Photography

Macro food shots are not just about magnification; they are about appetite appeal. By using Canon L-Series Macro lenses (100mm f/2.8L), I capture the minute textures—the oil on coffee beans, the moisture on a cupcake, or the crispness of a crust—that make a viewer stop scrolling. These details are essential when shooting for high-end restaurant menus or print campaigns where image clarity is non-negotiable.

Technical Approach to Lighting

Consistency is the core of my workflow. I do not rely on natural light, which is unpredictable. I use professional studio strobe setups to control shadows and highlights, regardless of the venue or time of day. This method allows me to recreate the same lighting environment whether I am working in my Suncity, Gurugram studio or on-location at a client's facility in Delhi NCR.

Why Styling Matters

Photography is only half the process. A beautiful dish can look unappetizing if it is not styled correctly. I handle the full setup: sourcing props, choosing backgrounds, and using professional tools like tweezers to ensure the final composition is clean and focused. This level of preparation ensures that when we shoot, we get the result in fewer frames, saving time and ensuring the food stays fresh during the session.

Project Versatility

This collection includes earlier work shot on the Canon EOS 700D alongside recent projects with the R5. It tracks the evolution of my technical skill, moving from standard cafe photography to complex commercial hero shots that require focus stacking and multi-exposure compositing. Whether you need isolated product shots for a Zomato listing or an advertising-grade hero image for a billboard, the process remains the same: meticulous planning and technical execution.
