My Path as a Dog Trainer
Dog training is not just about teaching commands. It is a way to build a real bond between you and your dog, based on years of learning from experts and my own two dogs.
A look back to 2019 when I first started this incredible journey into dog training. From working with Beagles to Golden Retrievers, every dog has been a teacher and has shaped the trainer I am today.
I believe that choosing the right mentors is crucial for growth. I've been privileged to learn from some of the best trainers in India, who have shaped my skills and my philosophy. This photo is a reminder of the importance of good guidance.
Receiving my certification was a foundational moment in my career. I am deeply grateful to my mentor Shirin Merchant, who taught me the importance of staying calm and composed in every situation.

About My Journey as a Trainer
I believe training is about communication, not just commands. My methods are a blend of the technical foundations I gained from mentors like Shirin Merchant and the daily, messy, real-world lessons I get from my own dogs, Brownie and Jax. If you are looking for a trainer who understands that your dog is a family member first and a student second, we might be a good match.
My path to becoming a professional dog trainer started in 2018. It was not just about reading books. It was about getting on the floor, getting dirty, and learning how dogs actually think. I have been fortunate to learn under the guidance of experts like Shirin Merchant, Adnaan, and Kumar. Each of them taught me something different. Shirin emphasized calm and composure, while others taught me about the reality of working with different temperaments in Indian urban environments.
When I work with a client in Delhi NCR, I bring this mix of formal education and street-smart experience. Whether it is puppy leash training in a busy neighborhood or helping an anxious rescue dog settle into a new home, my approach stays the same. I reinforce the calm, not the chaos. I use the 'YES' marker method to help your dog understand exactly what you want, making the learning process faster and more rewarding for both of you.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. If your dog struggles with separation anxiety or reactivity, we look at the environment, your daily routine, and your dog’s specific body language. We work where your dog lives. This could be your home, your terrace, or your local park. That is where the real-world challenges happen. My goal is to help you build a bond with your dog that makes life easier and more enjoyable for both of you.
