Cinematic pre-wedding photography in Mumbai for real couples
Forget stiff poses. I use Mumbai's streets and dramatic lighting to create pre-wedding photos that feel like stills from a movie. Let’s capture your story.
This is how I turn a real, unscripted moment on a Mumbai street into a cinematic shot. We were walking near the iconic Cafe Model when I asked them to just run towards me, and the result is this playful, energetic frame. This is my "Cinematic Story" style, perfect for a dynamic pre-wedding shoot in Mumbai.
About Cinematic Stories
My cinematic approach is built on movement, not static posing. We will hit spots like the gritty backstreets of South Bombay or quiet beach coves, where I guide you into walking, laughing, or just hanging out while I play with dramatic shadows and natural light. You do not just stand there. You interact, and I capture the frame that makes it look like a still from a film, ensuring you feel like the main character without any of the fake, over-processed plastic skin effects.
The Cinematic Approach
Most pre-wedding shoots feel like a checklist. You stand, you smile, and the photographer clicks. My process is the opposite. We aim for a 'filmi' look, where the city of Mumbai acts as our set. I use a mix of natural light and single-source flash to create contrast, depth, and mood.
What Goes Into a Shoot
When we plan your Cinematic Pre-Wedding session, we are looking at 4 to 6 hours of work. This is not about rushing from one spot to another. It is about taking the time to find the right light.
- Locations: We typically cover 2 to 3 distinct spots. I like mixing the heritage architecture of South Bombay with raw, urban street corners or the open coastline.
- Outfits: You get 4 outfit changes. This allows us to shift the mood from casual street style to something more dramatic or formal as the light changes.
- The Deliverables: You get 50 to 60 high-resolution edited images. I also include 3 to 5 teaser shots within 48 hours so you have something to post immediately.
My Editing Philosophy
I hate the plastic skin look. You have pores, you have texture, and that is what makes you look real. My editing focuses on color grading, contrast, and mood. We are aiming for a cinematic aesthetic—rich, moody, and timeless. If you are looking for a shoot that captures your actual connection rather than a fake, posed version of your relationship, let’s talk.
