About Festival Life
When I play a festival stage, I do not just hit play on a pre-recorded mix. I build a ninety minute narrative that starts with atmospheric textures and builds into high energy Baile Funk and Desi edits. My priority is reading the open air energy, knowing exactly when to drop the BPM for a sunset transition or ramp it up when the night peak hits, ensuring the dancefloor stays locked into the rhythm for the entire duration.
Festivals demand a specific kind of storytelling. I map out a set progression that respects the time slot, whether I am kicking off the day or closing a main stage. I am comfortable managing high pressure environments, from sound checks to coordinating with stage managers for technical cues.
My sound is never one dimensional. Whether it is a desert stage or a city park, I dig through crates for global gems. I blend Baile Funk, UK Garage, and unpredictable Desi edits that catch people off guard.
Logistics and Tech: I travel across India and internationally for festival bookings. Because I rely on specific soundscapes, I require a standard technical rider including Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 or 3000 setups. If your venue is outdoors, ensuring booth monitors are tuned to the space is non negotiable for me to deliver that tight, heavy bass sound.
