About Advanced Bridal & Portrait Mehndi
Getting the eyes and lips just right on a portrait is the hardest part of bridal mehndi. In this masterclass, I show you exactly how to handle shading and anatomy so your designs look like real faces, not just outlines. We start by practicing on paper before moving to the hand, ensuring you have the confidence to handle high-stakes bridal work.
My advanced course isn't about rushing through patterns. It’s about understanding depth. Whether you are already an artist looking to level up your bridal portraits or someone ready to tackle my signature 3D henna style, we focus on the details that clients actually notice.
Why focus on portraits?
Most artists can fill a hand with traditional vines and mandalas. But when a bride asks for a portrait of her and her partner, many hesitate. This course fixes that. We break down facial structures into simple shapes so you stop guessing and start creating.
What we cover:
- Anatomy & Proportions: Learning the 'rules' of facial features—eyes, nose, and lips—to prevent distortion.
- Sketch to Skin: We don't just jump onto the hand. You'll learn to transfer reference photos from your phone to paper, and finally to skin.
- 3D Shading: This is the 'jaan' (life) of the design. You’ll learn how to create realistic hair textures, folds in clothing like Lehengas or Sherwanis, and how to use negative space to make the faces pop.
The Learning Process
You won't get flawless results overnight, and that is okay. Practice is key, and I’ll be there to guide, correct, and cheer you on. Because I keep batch sizes limited, I personally review your daily homework. You get real feedback on where your shading is too light or your lines are too thick.
If you are ready to stop doing the same basic designs and start offering high-end, premium bridal services, chalo, let's get to work.
