The Thinai Project: A Feminist Epic on Silk

This is a large-scale installation inspired by classical Tamil literature's 'Thinai' poetic modes. I reinterpreted these ancient landscapes (mountains, forests, coasts, farmlands) through a modern, feminist lens, painting four epic scenes on Tussar silk that now adorn the walls of a home, interacting with the sunlight throughout the day.
