Documenting Your Wedding Details and Decor
You spend months perfecting every element of your wedding, from the floral accents to the venue lighting. I make sure those details are captured so you can remember exactly how your day looked.
A stunning mandap decorated with strings of white and pink flowers, set in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater of Zorba, Delhi. This is decor inspiration at its finest.
A collage showing the beautiful entrance decor and a cozy seating area at a Zorba wedding, highlighting the thoughtful details that create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
A beautifully decorated tree with hanging floral strings and lanterns, creating a magical seating area for an outdoor wedding function.
A collage showing the wedding stage and hanging lanterns, capturing the romantic and ethereal ambiance of the venue's decor.
A detail shot of the groom's sherwani and necklace, hanging against a beautiful architectural backdrop in Jaipur, capturing the elegance of the wedding attire.
A collage of wedding details, including the bride's Jimmy Choo shoes, her jewelry, and a fun shot of the couple, showing that details are part of the larger story.
About Details & Decor
When I shoot decor, I do not just take wide static shots of the stage. I look for the play of light on the floral textures and how the venue architecture frames your ceremony. Whether it is the warm glow of hanging lanterns at a Zorba event or the intricate setup of a heritage property in Jaipur, I document the setting as a backdrop to your story, not as empty real estate.
Your Wedding Aesthetics
Decor is more than just a backdrop. It is the environment you chose for your vows, and it deserves to be documented in a way that feels natural, not staged. My approach to wedding decor photography is about capturing the atmosphere as it exists while the event is happening.
Why Documentary Decor Photography?
Most photographers treat decor like a catalog shoot. I treat it like part of the narrative. I focus on:
- Contextual Details: Instead of just photographing an empty chair, I capture how the light hits the fabric during the reception or how the floral arrangements look against the dusk sky.
- The 'One Team' Advantage: Because our photo and video team works as one unit, we ensure that your decor shots are cohesive. The video team might be capturing the movement of wind through the drapes, while I am finding the perfect angle for the still image.
- Authentic Atmosphere: I prefer natural light where possible. If we are shooting at a venue like Indana Palace in Jaipur or a garden space in Delhi, I want the photos to show the venue’s real personality, not a version filtered to look like something else.
Preparing for Your Day
I often hear couples worry about the logistics of decor coverage. We keep it simple. We prioritize getting the 'hero shots' of the setup before the guests arrive and the chaos begins. However, the most vital shots often happen later, when the lights are dimmed, the guests are dancing, and the decor is actually being lived in. That is when the true vibe of your wedding reveals itself.
