Garden Plant Selection and Design Details
We choose plants based on your local light levels and space to ensure they actually survive. Whether you need an edible herb wall or a low-maintenance balcony setup, we design for performance, not just looks.
A vertical herb garden installation. We can design these for your kitchen or balcony, providing fresh herbs like parsley, mint, and rosemary right at your fingertips.
About this collection
For this herb garden, we use a specific soil-less cocopeat mix that is lightweight and holds moisture efficiently. This is critical for vertical installations because it reduces the load on your wall while keeping the roots healthy. We also integrate a drip irrigation line directly into the frame, so you don't have to water each pot individually; you just connect the main inlet to your tap.
Our Approach to Plant Selection
We select plant varieties based on the environment they will live in. If you have a balcony that gets full sun, we choose hardy, drought-tolerant species. If it is a shaded indoor wall, we go with varieties that thrive in low light, like Syngonium or Spider plants.
Technical Breakdown
- Support System: Every vertical garden uses a Mild Steel (MS) grid anchored to your wall. This keeps the setup rigid and ensures it doesn't lean or collapse over time.
- Modules: We use UV-stabilized Polypropylene hook-pots. They are durable, don't crack under heat, and are easy to remove if you ever need to replace a single plant.
- Irrigation: Our live wall systems include an inline drip network. This is not optional for large walls; it is the only reliable way to keep 10-12 plants per square foot hydrated.
Why Live Plants Need Planning
Live gardens are living systems. We don't just mount a grid and leave. We ensure the layout accounts for growth habits so one plant doesn't shade out another. If you want greenery but don't have time for the weekly check-ins, we can design a mix of live plants for high-visibility areas and high-quality artificial panels for the harder-to-reach corners. This gives you the full look without the headache of daily maintenance.
Vertical Garden Setup
We do simple, solid work. We’re not into big speeches or fancy designs that look good on paper but fail in real life. We just want to give you a green space that actually survives and looks right in your home or office.
