Inspired by the beauty of royal gardens, this invitation features delicate illustrations of peacocks and palace architecture. The pastel green and lavender color palette offers a softer, more serene take on a regal wedding theme.
About Royal & Regal Invitations
When selecting a royal-style invitation, the weight of the cardstock is as important as the design. For our palace-inspired collections, I recommend choosing at least 300 GSM metallic or textured paper to carry the intricate laser-cut work and gold foiling without bending. This thickness ensures the gatefold opening feels substantial and premium in your guests' hands, turning the unboxing into an experience rather than just a delivery.
The Art of a Royal Invitation
True grandeur in a wedding invitation comes from the layering of textures and meaningful design. When we create a Royal & Regal invite, we focus on depth. We often use 300-350 GSM cardstock because it provides the structural integrity needed for complex gatefold designs, intricate laser-cut 'jaali' patterns, and the application of heavy gold or copper foiling.
Why Materials Matter
- Rigid Foundation: For our premium boxed invitations, we utilize 2mm greyboard to ensure the box keeps its shape during transit. This rigid structure allows us to incorporate 3D pop-up elements or satin-lined cavities for sweets.
- Embellishments: We move beyond flat printing by incorporating MDF (wood composite) or gold-mirror acrylic monograms. These elements add a tactile, 3D finish that light catches, making the card feel like a piece of art.
- Traditional Motifs: We design with heritage in mind. From illustrated elephants and horses to architectural palace domes, every graphic is chosen to evoke a sense of occasion.
Your Vision, Crafted in Mumbai
Operating from our studio in Girgaon, Mumbai, we handle the entire process from conceptual design to final assembly. Whether you want a deep maroon color palette with royal gold accents or a soft, vintage-inspired dusty rose theme, the design is always about your story. We don't just print cards, we help you set the tone for your wedding festivities. If you are planning a grand event, we recommend starting the design process 3 to 4 months in advance to allow for custom motif development and sampling.
