About Behind the Brand
We were sick of jewellery that turned skin green and lost its shine after a week. So, we made our own. Upakarna started because we wanted pieces that look high-end but actually survive real life—showers, sweat, and long work days. We built this for anyone who wants to wear their favourite stack 24/7 without a second thought.
It is not just about the jewellery, it is about the community. We started as a tiny team and now we are here with a 200k fam of jewellery addicts. When we design a piece, we obsess over the details: the stainless steel base, the PVD plating, and that hypoallergenic finish. We wanted to bridge the gap between cheap-and-tacky and too-expensive-to-wear. Every necklace, ring, and bangle you see is something we personally test during our daily grind. Whether it is our signature evil eye charms or the minimalist mangalsutras, every item is made to be your everyday companion. We do not do old-school, heavy sets that stay in a locker.
