Getting a French manicure right is all about the line work and the foundation. We start with a proper dry manicure to ensure your nail plate is perfectly prepped, so that white or colored tip sits crisp and clean without lifting. If you are pairing this with extensions, we build that structural apex so you get the length you want without sacrificing the durability needed for your daily routine.
The Classic & The Modern
The French manicure is iconic for a reason—it is clean, professional, and goes with everything. At our New BEL Road studio, we stick to that classic aesthetic when you want it, but we are also big fans of modernizing it. We have done plenty of black-tip French manicures for clients who want an edgy look, and we are always up for experimenting with different shades or even chrome finishes if that is your vibe.
The Process
It is not just about painting the tip. We use high-quality gel polish that cures under our UV/LED lamps to ensure the finish is high-gloss and chip-resistant. If you have brittle nails or want a bit more length, we suggest starting with a builder gel overlay or acrylic extensions. This gives us a solid, even surface to work on, making those signature lines look perfect every single time.
Maintenance Tips
A good French manicure should last you anywhere from two to three weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow and your daily routine. We always finish with cuticle oil, but keeping your hands hydrated at home really helps extend the life of your polish.
