We bring portable science labs to schools, city events, and festivals, turning complex concepts into hands-on building adventures.

Harnessing the power of the sun! Students at New Activity School in Mumbai hold up the solar-powered fan houses they built. This was a perfect outdoor session to learn about renewable energy.

Our pop-up tent at the JBCN Parel InspirUs event. We set up a "Flying Wonders" workshop where kids could build their own Pterodactyl models and learn about aerodynamics.

A look at our activity stations at the Majkhali Mela. We brought our popular rocket launcher and scribble-bot workshops to the fair, offering fun, hands-on science to all the attendees.

An instructor addresses a class of young students in a school setting. We begin our workshops with a brief, engaging introduction to the scientific concepts they will be exploring.

A collage showcasing the variety of our STEM classes in schools. From lemon batteries to light-up toys, we offer a diverse curriculum that makes learning fun.

A sneak peek into the magic of our STEM classes. This video shows students creating domino chain reactions, building candy dispensers, and experimenting with balance.

Students proudly hold up the pinwheels they created in one of our workshops. This simple activity is a great way to learn about wind energy and mechanics.

About this collection

When we set up for a school or public event, we bring more than just kits; we bring a structured, high-energy flow. We start with a 15-minute concept demo—like why a solar-powered fan works or how circuits function—and then shift immediately to the build, where every student gets their own materials and tools. Whether it is 20 students in a classroom or 200 at a mela, we ensure every child walks away with a functional gadget they built themselves, not just a sticker.

How We Run Our Science Labs

Science shouldn't stay on the blackboard. Our in-school programs and pop-up labs are designed to break the cycle of passive listening. We provide all the necessary raw materials—from hobby electronics like motors and LEDs to craft components like cardboard and foam—so schools and event organizers don't need to source a single thing.

What to Expect During a Session:

  • Concept Introduction: We don't lecture. We show. An instructor guides the group through the core physics or mechanics of the day’s project in about 15 minutes.
  • The Build: This is the messy part. Kids use our safety tools and kits to assemble their projects. Our facilitators circulate to assist, troubleshoot, and ensure everyone’s robot moves or their lamp lights up.
  • Take-Home Value: Every child leaves with their own creation. Whether it is a motorized boat or a solar-powered house, they take it home to show off what they learned.

School & Event Flexibility We manage classroom environments for structured learning, or we set up high-throughput 'activity zones' for melas, corporate family days, and festivals. In a classroom setting, we can align projects with your current curriculum—like renewable energy for science week or robotics for tech week. For events, we set up open stations where kids can drop in, spend 20 minutes building a quick gadget, and keep moving.

We are currently operating in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai, and we are fully equipped to manage the logistics of large groups without sacrificing the quality of the hands-on experience.

The Whiz Lab

Workshops at Perambur, ChennaiStarting ₹650 Per Child Per Session

We are The Whiz Lab, a team that thinks science belongs in kids' hands, not just in textbooks. Whether we’re turning your school hall into a robotics station or setting up a science zone at a city mela, our goal is to spark that 'aha!' moment when a child builds something that actually works.
