Organizing isn't magic, it's just systems. Here are my favorite habits and folding hacks to help you reclaim your space and lighten your mental load.

Here are 5 habits that can make you more organized: create a dedicated place for each item, put your home to sleep every night, label things, outsource what you don't have time for, and write everything down.

My last tip for the year: put your home to sleep. Before going to bed, spend a few minutes putting everything back in its place. This sets the right tone for a productive next day.

Decluttering is the first step to organizing. Clutter is always clutter, even when it's hidden in beautiful bins. I always say, don't organize clutter.

We call this the 'Final Fold'. Always position folded clothes with the closed side facing outward. This provides better visibility and makes your stacks look much neater.

Sentimental items are the hardest to declutter. If you feel guilty letting go, try taking a nice photo to preserve the memory, and then release the physical item.

Minimalism isn't about throwing things away. It's about creating physical, mental, and emotional space for what truly matters in your life.

Organizing isn't magic. Having systems doesn't mean your home will always be perfect, but it does mean it will only take 5 minutes to make it tidy again after a mess.

Is your home tidy or organized? A home can look tidy, but if family members spend minutes each day looking for items, then it's not truly organized.

Decluttering is self-care. Stop making excuses and start making space for more joy and creativity in your life.

A key Tidy Tip: See your things. Storing items in clear bins helps you easily see what you have and prevents you from buying duplicates.

About My Tidy Tips & Tricks

If you struggle to maintain order, stop trying to keep things perfect all the time. My system focuses on 'resetting'—giving every item a dedicated home so that tidying up becomes a simple 5-minute daily habit rather than a weekend-long marathon.
