About this collection
Choosing the right waist belt or jadanagam is not just about matching the gold tone, it is about how it sits with your saree’s zari. When you rent a set from me, we sit down to discuss the weight and drape of your outfit, ensuring the pieces remain comfortable and secure throughout your ceremony.
Details are what make a bridal look feel complete. Whether you are aiming for a classic South Indian muhurtham style or a specific regional look, the right accessories act as the anchor for your entire appearance.
My Rental Collection
My collection is built on pieces I personally trust for comfort and visual impact:
- Hair Jewellery: I offer a full Jada Billai set (9-11 pieces) or snake-design hair coverage to complement braids. These are secured with professional-grade pins to ensure they stay put without damaging your hair.
- Waist Belts (Oddiyanam): These are the centerpiece of a traditional silhouette. My collection ranges from broad, ornate temple-motif belts to adjustable designs that fit waists from 28 to 38 inches.
- Armlets (Vanki): Often overlooked, a well-fitted vanki adds elegance to your hands. I provide these in various temple-gold finishes that match the embroidery on your blouse.
The Consultation Process
I do not simply hand over a box of jewellery. When we meet for your consultation, I look at your saree and blouse before recommending accessories. We check how the oddiyanam sits on your waist and ensure the hair accessories align with your braid style. This prevents the common issue of jewellery feeling too heavy or slipping off mid-event.
Hygiene & Care
I know that hygiene is a major concern with rental pieces. All skin-contact surfaces, including earrings, tikka bands, and vanki clasps, are sanitized with industrial alcohol wipes before and after every rental. You can focus on your big day knowing your accessories are clean and ready to wear.
