Building Your Foundational Wardrobe
Stop buying clothes you never wear. I help you build a versatile capsule wardrobe by maximizing what you already own and identifying exactly what your style is missing.
Style tip of the day: with good basics, you will have endless outfit options. Investing in high-quality foundation pieces is the secret to a versatile wardrobe that you can mix and match for any occasion.
To look stylish, there are three things you must know: your body shape, the colors that work best for you, and your unique personal style. Understanding these fundamentals is the first step to building a wardrobe you love.
About this collection
Most of my clients start with a wardrobe full of clothes but only wear twenty percent of them. We will not start by buying new things. Instead, we identify your body shape and color palette first, then we audit your current closet to see what we can remix, alter, or finally donate to make space for pieces that actually serve you.
Building a foundational wardrobe is not about chasing seasonal trends or constantly adding new items to your closet. It is about understanding the principles of your own appearance. My process starts with technical analysis, using color drapes to find your seasonal palette and morphometrics to determine the cuts that actually flatter your body shape.
The In-Home Closet Audit
During our three to four hour session at your home, we do the real work. I help you sort every item into four categories: keep, archive, alter, or donate. This removes the clutter and the daily decision fatigue that comes from staring at a packed but unwearable closet. We also perform a gap analysis, creating a specific shopping list so you stop impulse buying and start investing in pieces that bridge your current wardrobe to your ideal style.
Why This Works
Once we have streamlined your inventory, I create a digital lookbook for you. This PDF guide contains photos of outfit combinations we put together using your existing clothes. You will see how one high-quality basic piece, like a well-cut blazer or a perfectly fitted pair of trousers, can change the utility of items you already own.
My Approach to Shopping
If we decide to go shopping, it is never about browsing. It is an educational session. I teach you how to check fabric quality, understand wrinkle resistance, and judge fit by looking at shoulder seams and sleeve lengths. This way, you learn to spot quality clothing on your own long after our session is over. You will stop guessing and start dressing with intention, ensuring every item you own has a purpose and a place in your life.
The Missing Piece
I am Neha. I do not believe in forcing a new identity on you. I help you understand your body shape and color palette so you can stop guessing and start dressing with intention.
