Featured Kitchen Designs
I design kitchens as living spaces—warm, open, and built for the life that happens inside them. Here is a collection of projects that define my philosophy of blending daily needs with personal touches.
This kitchen, with its view of the lush outdoors, is the heart of the home, designed for slow mornings and shared meals. The island becomes a natural gathering spot, while the large window invites nature in, creating a space that feels both expansive and intimate.
A tall appliance unit is one of my favorite ways to create a calm, clutter-free kitchen. This one uses a bi-fold and an up-and-over shutter to conceal everyday appliances, with a pull-out tray for easy access, ensuring the space remains seamless and functional.
I love the drama of a bold kitchen. Here, the striking black marble backsplash and warm wood cabinetry create a sophisticated contrast, while the island with comfortable seating makes it an inviting social hub. This is a space designed for both cooking and conversation.
My signature bi-fold window is more than a design feature; it’s a way to connect spaces and people. It opens the kitchen to the dining area, allowing conversation to flow, and the ledge doubles as a serving counter, making hosting feel effortless.
For me, a kitchen can be a canvas. In this space, the walls are adorned with hand-painted ceramic tiles that tell a story, turning the entire room into a piece of art. It’s a testament to how bespoke details can create a truly personal and unforgettable sanctuary.
Thoughtful storage is the secret to a kitchen that feels effortless. This shows a few of my go-to solutions, like tall pantry units for groceries, vertical pull-outs for spices, and ventilated mesh drawers that allow vegetables to breathe.
A kitchen should feel warm and lived-in. The soft, blush-toned wood, classic checkered flooring, and adjoining dining table create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a space that invites you to linger long after the meal is over.
The artisan's touch begins long before installation. This is a glimpse into the workshop where sheets of brass are patiently hand-shaped into the beautiful, bespoke sinks and fixtures that bring a unique warmth and character to my kitchens.
Color can completely transform a kitchen's mood. The deep Marsala red of these cabinets, paired with dark stone and green tiles, creates a space that is bold, warm, and full of personality. It’s a confident design for a home with a story to tell.
On World Interiors Day, I reflected on why I design kitchens. It’s about more than function; it’s about creating the setting for life’s quiet rituals, from the morning chai to homework at the counter. It’s the true heart of an Indian home.
About Featured
You might notice that my focus is on the complete build, not just the design drawings. I handle everything from the initial floor plan to the final installation. Whether it is a compact parallel layout or a kitchen with a central island, my process starts by looking at your habits—where you reach for spices, how you move between the stove and the sink, and where you prefer to pour your morning chai.
When I approach a kitchen, I think about how you will feel in the space five years from now. That is why I exclusively take on full-service projects. By managing the build from start to finish, I ensure that the hidden details—like the BWP marine-grade plywood carcass, the Hettich or Blum hardware, and the quality of the laminate or PU finish—are executed exactly as planned.
My design philosophy centers on a few key areas:
- Smart, Concealed Storage: I obsess over practicalities like appliance garages to hide toasters, vertical pull-outs for masala dabbas, and ventilated mesh drawers so vegetables stay fresh.
- Open Connections: If the layout permits, I often suggest bi-fold windows or glass partitions to link the kitchen with the dining area. It changes the kitchen from a closed-off room into a space where you can chat while you cook.
- Layered Materials: A kitchen should not feel sterile. I layer textures, using warm wood veneers against stone countertops, or hand-painted tiles as a backsplash to bring character into the room.
Every project is different because every client is different. Some of you love bold, dark marble and strong colors, while others prefer a quiet, neutral sanctuary. My job is to translate your way of living into a functional layout that feels personal, durable, and comfortable for the long haul.
