Studio Portraits and Headshots That Capture Your Real Vibe
Clean lines, sharp focus, and zero stiff poses. Whether you need a professional headshot for an audition or a fresh portfolio update, I shoot to capture the actual you.
A strong studio portrait with a pop of color from the yellow jacket. This type of image is great for a model's portfolio, showing how they can carry a bold fashion piece.
A dynamic studio shot with the jacket appearing to float. This creative pose adds energy and movement to a standard studio portrait.
A confident and direct studio portrait. The simple styling with a white tank and yellow jacket creates a clean, modern look that is very versatile.
A cool, relaxed studio portrait featuring a model with colored sunglasses. This shot shows personality and is great for a commercial or lifestyle model's book.
A full-body seated pose in the studio. This demonstrates how a model can use their entire body to create an interesting shape even while sitting.
A playful studio shot where the model interacts with their sunglasses. This adds a touch of character and is great for showing a range of expressions.
A warm and friendly seated portrait against a grey studio background. The relaxed pose and smile make this a very approachable headshot for an actor.
A full-length studio shot with a dynamic, off-balance pose. This image shows movement and is a great way to add energy to a portfolio.
A thoughtful, seated studio portrait. The model adjusting his jacket creates a natural, candid feel within a controlled studio environment.
About Studio Portraits & Headshots
You will notice that my studio sessions are not about stiff, static poses. I focus on movement and direction to ensure the images show your actual personality rather than just a formal headshot. We spend 4 to 5 hours on set so we have the time to experiment and find the exact vibe that works for your portfolio.
A great studio portrait should look effortless, but getting there takes deliberate work. My approach for studio photography is designed to get you a set of images that act as a proper calling card, whether you are an actor, a model, or a creative professional.
My Approach to Studio Shoots
I run an 'Essential Stills' portfolio session that typically lasts 4 to 5 hours. This isn't a rush job. It is a dedicated block of time where we work on up to 3 costume changes, allowing us to capture everything from tight headshots to full-body fashion looks.
We start with a pre-shoot consultation to lock in the vibe. Are we going for something moody and edgy, or a clean, bright look? Once we are on set, I guide you through the posing. I watch how you move, how you adjust your jacket, or how you interact with the camera, and I frame the shot accordingly. The goal is to avoid that 'stiff professional' look that everyone has.
What You Get
You walk away with 10 to 12 high-end retouched images. These go through detailed skin cleaning, dodge and burn, and stray hair removal—all the technical work needed for a polished look. You also get a dump of 25 to 30 color-corrected shots so you have a wide range of options for your social media or casting submissions.
Practical Details
- Wardrobe: You bring the outfits. I recommend bringing a mix of formal, street, and casual to maximize the variety of the shoot.
- Location: We use a dual setting approach. I start with studio setups for those clean, controlled backgrounds and can move to outdoor or street settings to give your portfolio an urban edge.
- Timeline: You will receive your final high-resolution files via cloud link within 7 to 10 days.
- Note: Makeup and hair styling are not included in the base session price, so please arrange this beforehand.
