This song is a masterpiece by Shreya Ghoshal mam. Here's my humble attempt at singing it. I love doing covers of my favorite Hindi songs.
What a song. I couldn't resist trying to sing "Soseki" from Pushpa 2. Please excuse my pronunciation, I just love the melody so much.
A little mashup of two of my favorites, "Jiya Re" and "Neene Neene". It's always fun to mix and match songs from different languages.
"Suraj Hua Maddham" is such a pretty and iconic Bollywood love song. It's a must have in any romantic acoustic set.
This is such a beautiful track by Sonu Nigam sir. I really enjoyed singing this Hindi song, hope you guys love it too.
This part from "Rasaali" is just so beautifully sung. It's a Tamil song with such a powerful melody, I had to try singing it.
A random cover of one of my all time favorite Hindi songs, "Kaise Mujhe". It's just perfect for a quiet, soulful session.
Here's a short cover of the classic Tamil song "Kanmani Anbodu". I'm sorry for any pronunciation mistakes, I just love this song.
I've been hooked on this song "Nee Bidiru" by Sanjith Hegde and Sonu Nigam sir. It's such an inspiring project and a beautiful melody.
About Bollywood & Tamil Melodies
When I perform these romantic sets, I keep it acoustic—just me and my guitar, or with a percussionist. It is not meant to be a loud, high-energy party atmosphere. Think of it as the perfect soundtrack for a dinner or a sangeet where you actually want people to talk and connect, rather than shouting over heavy speakers.
My approach to these Bollywood and Tamil sessions is all about intimacy. If you are looking for background music that complements a warm, chatty environment—like a private sangeet, a house concert, or a corporate dinner—this is exactly what I specialize in.
Solo or Duo?
I offer two configurations to fit your space:
- Solo: Just me and my guitar. This is super intimate and works best for small living rooms or café settings.
- Duo: I bring a keyboardist or percussionist. This gives the sound more depth and is better for larger spaces or events where you want a slightly fuller, semi-classical feel.
Song Choices & Requests
My setlist is a mix of the songs that hit home for me—Bollywood favorites like 'Suraj Hua Maddham' and Tamil classics like 'Kanmani Anbodu.' I love the challenge of mixing languages, so I usually blend Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil to keep the vibe dynamic.
If you have a specific list of songs you want to hear, just let me know at least 5 days before the event. I need that time to practice and make sure I get the arrangement right. Since these are acoustic sets, please ensure you have a basic sound setup (2 mics and a small mixer) ready, and I will handle the rest.
