Planning a beach shoot is about more than just showing up. It is about timing the golden hour and choosing fabrics that flow with the ocean breeze. I guide you on everything from coordinating outfits that pop against the azure background to picking the perfect, quiet stretch of sand, ensuring your portraits look effortless rather than staged.
There is a unique energy by the water that brings out a different side of a couple. Whether it is a quiet, intimate moment on a secluded beach in Thailand or a high-energy dance session on the sands of Goa, the coast provides the ultimate natural backdrop. My approach to coastal photography is all about movement. I encourage you to run, embrace, and let the wind interact with your outfits, creating that cinematic, flowing look you see in my portfolio.
For beach sessions, I focus on the technical details that matter most. We utilize full-frame cameras with professional lighting to manage the harsh reflection of the sun and sand. If the location allows, I also bring in drone photography to capture wide, breathtaking shots of you against the endless horizon. We typically plan these shoots during the golden hour, just before sunset, to get that soft, warm glow that makes skin tones look incredible. Beyond the still photos, I create 3 to 4-minute cinematic films for these shoots, using sound design to match the gentle crashing of the waves. It is not just about the picture; it is about the feeling of being miles away from the city noise, focused entirely on each other.
