I usually scout for the quieter corners of these palaces—like shaded corridors at sunrise or rooftop terraces—where the light hits perfectly but you can actually relax without a crowd. It is in these intimate spots that you stop posing and start acting like yourselves, which is when the real, cinematic magic happens.

Shooting at a palace is about more than just standing in front of grand stone walls. It is about understanding how to use the geometry of arches, pillars, and courtyards to frame your story. Whether we are at a luxury resort in Manesar or a heritage haveli in Bikaner, the goal is to make the location feel like a part of your film, not just a static backdrop.
The Golden Rule of Heritage Shoots Light is everything. We start our shoots early, often before the sun fully peaks, to get those soft, golden tones that make traditional jewelry and silk sarees pop. By the time the afternoon heat settles in, we focus on intimate, indoor shots inside the palace, utilizing the natural light that filters through jharokhas (traditional windows).
