About Luxe Bathrooms & Powder Rooms
In our bathroom designs, we prioritize the 'feel' over just the finish. We often use frosted, large-format windows to flood these spaces with natural light without compromising on privacy, and we love pairing unexpected materials—like fluted stone vanities against hand-painted wallpaper—to create depth. Before you dive into the details, it’s worth thinking about whether you want a high-energy, dramatic powder room for guests or a calm, spa-like sanctuary for your daily routine.
For us, a bathroom is one of the most intimate spaces in a home. It’s where your day begins and ends, so it needs to offer more than just basic functionality.
When we approach these spaces, we look for ways to turn them into 'jewel boxes.' This might mean using rich, book-matched marble or textured lime plaster on the walls to create an immersive experience. We are particularly fond of balancing the coldness of stone with the warmth of natural wood—using fluted wood cabinetry or teak accents to soften the room.
Lighting is another element we obsess over. We rarely rely on a single central light. Instead, we layer magnetic tracks, recessed COB lights for wall washing, and concealed LED strips under vanities to create a glow that feels inviting rather than clinical. If we’re working on a powder room, we like to be a bit bolder—think hand-painted murals or intense wallpaper patterns that give the room a personality all its own.
Practicality remains at the core, though. We ensure that storage is smart and hidden, and we pay close attention to plumbing and waterproofing, especially when integrating natural materials like Kota stone or marble. We also love designing custom vanities that fit your exact needs, whether that means a double basin for a shared master bath or a single, sculptural sink for a guest powder room. The goal is always to create a space that feels like a quiet, beautiful escape from the rush of the city.
