This is the first impression of my work. It’s a curated look into my philosophy of creating architecture that is deeply connected to its landscape, process, and materials. Each project, whether a mountain retreat or an urban home, begins with a conversation with the land.
Hillside Architecture: Homes That Belong to the Land
I specialize in designing for challenging hillside terrains, creating structures that feel like a natural extension of the landscape. My approach involves terraced designs, green roofs, and using local materials to build homes that are rooted in their environment, whether in Almora or Himachal.
The Architect's Craft: From Concept Model to Built Form
Every project begins with a deep study of the land, translated into physical models that allow us to test ideas of form, space, and light. This hands-on process, from initial topographical studies to detailed structural models, is fundamental to creating architecture that is both thoughtful and precise.
Urban Sanctuaries: Carving Out Nature in the City
In dense urban environments like Delhi and Gurugram, my focus is on creating pockets of tranquility and connection to nature. I design residences and institutional spaces by "scooping out" volumes to create courtyards, light wells, and green balconies that blur the line between inside and out.
A Dialogue with Materials: Earth, Concrete, and Light
I believe materials tell a story. My work explores the raw beauty of elements like rammed earth, exposed concrete, and wood, using them to create texture, form, and a sense of place. This focus on materiality is about building structures that are not only sustainable but also resonate with the natural "colours of earth".
Our Studio: A Living Laboratory
Our studio is a direct reflection of our design philosophy, a space where work, life, and nature are seamlessly integrated. Surrounded by lush greenery and filled with natural light, it serves as our testing ground for ideas and a constant source of inspiration for creating spaces that feel alive.
