Divine Canvases: Spiritual & Deity Art Murals
I blend raw street energy with traditional spirituality. From massive 40-foot murals to detailed canvas commissions, I bring deities like Shiva, Durga, and Buddha to life with my own twist.
My biggest project yet, a 40-foot Shivshakti mural in Pushkar. This video shows the entire process, from climbing the bamboo scaffolding to painting the final details. This was a true test of skill and dedication.
Watch the transformation of this Buddha mural I painted in Pushkar. The first frame shows the initial sketch, and the final shots reveal the finished piece, rich with color and detail. Art evolves, just like we do.
A timelapse of my Maa Durga painting. You can see how I build up the layers of acrylic paint to create her powerful expression. This piece is all about capturing the divine feminine energy, the 'Shakti'.
Here’s a work-in-progress of a Lord Shiva canvas commission. I started with black and white to define the form and then brought it to life with his iconic blue skin and a red tilak. The process is a meditation in itself.
I also work with traditional Indian art forms. This is a Ram Darbar piece I painted in the classic Pichwai style on canvas for a client in Chhatarpur. It shows my respect for our roots, but always with a Stanlee twist.
About Divine Canvases: Spiritual & Deity Art
When I work on deity art, the process is pure meditation. I start with a detailed sketch to nail the form, then layer on acrylics and spray paint to get that pop-culture texture. Whether it is a 40-foot wall in Pushkar or a custom canvas for your home, I ensure the energy is right before I even pick up the spray can.
How I Mix Street Soul and Tradition
People often ask if graffiti belongs in spiritual art. My answer is simple: it is about giving tradition a modern pulse. When I paint a Ram Darbar in Pichwai style or a powerful portrait of Lord Shiva, I use techniques from years of tagging walls—bold outlines, vibrant color gradients, and sharp contrasts. This creates a visual impact that traditional methods sometimes miss.
My Process
- The Vision: We talk about the vibe you want. Is it meditative like Buddha, or fierce like Maa Durga’s Shakti?
- The Sketch: Everything starts with a sketch. No shortcuts here.
- The Execution: For murals, I use spray paints and heavy-body acrylics for durability. For indoor canvases, I stick to high-quality acrylics and Posca markers for that signature detail.
- The Varnish: Every piece gets a protective coat so it stays looking sharp for years.
Common Questions
- Can you paint large-scale? Yes, I have done 40-foot walls and massive canvases. If you have a blank wall, I have the sprays.
- Do you travel? 100%. I have painted in Pune, Pushkar, Indore, and all over India. If you have a space that needs character, I am there.
- Is it respectful? Always. I approach every deity with the same respect I would give a mentor. The Stanlee twist is in the technique, not the core essence of the subject.
