From Vision to Reality: Our Design Journey
A home is more than a finished product. It is a dialogue between site, light, and people. Here is how we transform raw spaces into homes that breathe.

About From Vision to Reality: The Design Process
We don't hand over a set of drawings and walk away. That raw concrete structure you see in our process photos is where the real work happens, as we refine the alignment, test material finishes, and ensure the natural light behaves exactly as we envisioned. Designing a home is a collaboration between us, the site, and the craftsmen on the ground, and we stay on-site to ensure the final result remains true to the original intent.
Architecture is rarely about one single move. It is the accumulation of hundreds of small, intentional decisions. When we take on a project, whether it is a farmhouse renovation or a new villa, we treat it as a story that needs to be retold.
The Reality of the Process
You might see the glossy final photographs, but the journey usually involves 400 to 500 days of site visits, material testing, and solving unforeseen challenges. For instance, in our 'Under the Amaltas Tree' project, the process started with raw site constraints and a single tree that dictated the entire layout. We spent months working with the existing site conditions, rather than clearing them, to ensure the indoor-outdoor connection felt natural, not forced.
Why Supervision Matters
We insist on heavy on-site supervision because design details often get lost between the drawing and the execution. When we integrate custom features like fluted wooden panels or cantilevered windows, we are there to guide the masons and carpenters. This hands-on approach allows us to fix issues before they become permanent mistakes. It also means we can adapt to the site as the structure rises.
If you are planning to build, expect a process that prioritizes intention over speed. We look for clients who value this patience, as we believe the best spaces are crafted over time rather than built in a rush.
SSDA
We are a team that believes a house should tell your story, not ours. We don't build standard layouts; we sit with you to understand how you live, breathe, and find comfort. If you want a space that feels personal, thoughtful, and built to last, let's talk about your site.
