About Garba & Dakla Energy
Most people think they have two left feet until they try a few Dakla steps. I focus on building your confidence with simple, powerful formations that look amazing even if you are a total beginner. We will take the foundational rhythm, add some energy, and turn it into a performance that actually feels like you, not just a set of memorized steps.
Whether it is a Sangeet night or a Navratri workshop, I believe Garba is an emotion. My choreography is not about rigid, textbook moves; it is about that specific Garba vibe—connecting with the rhythm, the dhol, and your squad.
Traditional vs. Fusion
I teach authentic steps for those who want to keep it traditional, but I also love blending in fusion elements if you want a modern, high-energy Sangeet performance.
How We Work
We start with the basics—footwork and the right posture—and layer on the expression. For Sangeet squads, I prioritize formations that make 10 to 15 people look perfectly in sync without needing weeks of practice. My goal is to make the group choreography look tight and impressive while keeping the learning process fun.
Common Questions
- Can non-dancers join? Absolutely. My 'Ho jaega' motto exists for a reason. We will find simple, impactful steps that fit your ability.
- What about the music? I handle the song selection and mixing to ensure we have a seamless flow, whether you want classic Falguni Pathak hits or a modern upbeat track.
- Where are rehearsals? We can do this at my Navrangpura studio, or if you are planning a destination wedding, I travel to your venue. Let us make your performance the highlight of the event.
