This is the first glimpse into my work and philosophy. It is a curated selection that captures the essence of my approach to public architecture, from large-scale cultural institutions to socially-focused interventions and the intellectual rigor that underpins every project.
Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bengaluru
This project was a conversation with the city, designed to be a public space that weaves together art, culture, and community. The architecture focuses on creating inclusive and accessible environments, from the street-level sculpture court to the galleries within.
Shaping Future Architects
I see teaching as a responsibility to continue the architectural conversation and help shape how our profession serves the city. I engage with students in urban design studios and workshops, tackling real-world challenges from historic forts to busy bazaars.
The Architect's Gaze: Finding Stories in the Streets
My design process is rooted in observation and memory, finding inspiration in the quiet corners and bustling streets of our cities. These moments of looking, from the historic wadas of Vadodara to the vibrant life of Tiruchirappalli, inform the stories I try to tell through architecture.
Architectural Dialogues & Collaborations
Architecture is not a solitary pursuit; it thrives on dialogue, debate, and partnership. I actively participate in public talks, panel discussions, and collaborations with other creative minds to share knowledge and push the boundaries of my own practice.
Global Architectural Inspirations
To design for a specific place, one must also understand the global conversation in architecture. I travel to study the work of masters, observing how they manipulate form, light, and material to create timeless and thought provoking spaces.
Additional Work & Engagements
A collection of other moments from my practice, including collaborations, discussions, and personal explorations that contribute to my architectural journey.
Socially Responsible Design
I believe architecture must serve real human needs, not just aesthetic ambitions. This includes adaptive reuse projects and advocating for inclusive design that makes public spaces truly accessible to all members of society.
