Poolside Garden Design: Lush, Private Sanctuaries
We transform your pool area into a natural, layered lagoon, using dense tropical plant communities to build privacy and serenity right at home.

A poolside garden during a Bangalore rain is a beautiful sight. Our designs are created to be enjoyed in all seasons, with plants that thrive in our local climate.
About this collection
When designing for pools, we look beyond just the look. We focus on selecting hardy, moisture-loving species like Areca palms and Philodendrons that don't just tolerate the occasional pool splash but actually thrive in that specific microclimate. This creates a dense, tiered wall of green that gives you total privacy without blocking the breeze, turning your pool edge into a breathing, private sanctuary.
Building Your Private Lagoon
We approach poolside landscaping like a natural ecosystem. A pool is a harsh environment for plants due to the constant moisture, chemical spray, and intense light reflection. Instead of standard hedges, we use a 3-layer planting system—Canopy, Body, and Ground Cover—to mimic the resilience of a tropical forest edge.
The Science of Our Layers
- Canopy: We use taller palms and structural trees to provide shade and a sense of enclosure.
- Body: This is the heart of the privacy screen. We select broad-leafed varieties like Xanadu and Ceylon Gold Philodendrons, which offer dense foliage to block lines of sight from neighboring properties.
- Ground Cover: These plants stabilize the soil and keep the area cool, preventing the mud splatter that often occurs around pool decks.
Why Biodiversity Matters
We don't believe in planting rows of identical plants. That approach is fragile. By mixing species, we create a 'plant community' where the root systems support each other, and the garden becomes more resistant to pests and diseases. This also means your garden requires less constant feeding and fussing.
Practical Details
For every project, we assess the drainage situation first. Pool decks can retain water, so we use custom bio-engineered potting mixes and gravel foundations to ensure proper water runoff. This protects the plant roots from rot and keeps the surrounding deck clean and safe. Whether you have a small backyard dip or a larger lap pool in Bangalore, our designs are built to grow better with time, not just look good on day one.
