About Glam & Party Looks
A lot of people worry about party makeup looking cakey, especially under bright venue lights. My technique focuses on skin-first prep and selective color correction, so the base feels light and breathes. Whether it is a soft engagement look or a dramatic cocktail finish, we build the look to be camera-ready without hiding who you are.
The secret to a great party look isn't a mountain of product. It is about understanding your face shape and skin type before even picking up a brush. When I work with clients for engagements or cocktail events, I focus on 'the small things'—the perfect blend on the eyelids, the balance between a bold lip and eye, and ensuring the hair accessories are secure.
My Approach to Glam Looks
- Skin-First Prep: We start with analysis. If your skin isn't prepped, no amount of foundation will save the look. I use techniques to ensure your base remains fresh from the start of the ceremony to the final photos.
- Camera-Ready Focus: Lighting at parties can be tricky. I design your makeup to look good in person and pop in photos. Whether it is a classic smokey eye or a high-fashion look, we ensure the contours and highlights are placed exactly right.
- Cohesion: Makeup doesn't exist in a vacuum. Your outfit, jewelry, and hairstyle must work together. I teach my students to look at the 'big picture' of the overall aesthetic, and I apply this same standard to my client work at my RDC Ghaziabad academy.
Why This Matters
Makeup is not about covering your face. It is about enhancing it. My goal is to create a look that feels like you, but a more confident, camera-ready version. If you are preparing for a special event, let's chat about what style fits your outfit and personality.
