Social Meetups & Open Mics
Core Access
- Venue Entry: Access to a reserved zone within a cafe or pub for 2 to 3 hours.
- Facilitation: One Community Host to manage introductions, ice-breakers, and flow.
Activity Setup
- For Jams: Basic sound setup provided (1 Mic, 1 Stand, 1 Amplifier). Instruments are BYO (Bring Your Own).
- For Conversations: Printed prompts, sticky notes, and group seating management.
Important Exclusions
- Food & Beverage: Zero consumption is included in this ticket.
- Venue Policy: Attendees must often pay a mandatory Cover Charge (approx. ₹300 - ₹500) at the venue entrance, redeemable against food.
Speed Dating & Social Mixers
Event Format
- Structure: Timed rotation system ensuring interactions with 10+ participants.
- Hosting: Lead Emcee for energy and time-keeping, supported by logistics volunteers.
Materials & Matchmaking
- Props: Scorecards for noting preferences, disposable name tags, and game props (e.g., blindfolds).
- Post-Event: Manual or digital compilation of matches with contact sharing permitted only for mutual matches.
Pricing & Venue Realities
- Gender Pricing: High variance in pricing (Low for women, High for men) is utilized to operationally balance gender ratios.
- Exclusions: Ticket covers entry and organization only. No food or drinks included. Venue cover charges apply separately.
Creative Art Workshops
Supply Kit (Standard Grade)
- Base Material: One unit per person depending on theme (Canvas Board 10x12/12x16, Ceramic Bowl + Faux Gold Mix, or 500g Air-dry Clay).
- Shared Tools: Use of brushes, palettes, aprons, water cups, and carving tools.
- Consumables: All necessary acrylic paints, glues, and varnishes.
Instruction & Takeaway
- Guidance: Step-by-step instruction by a facilitator, tailored for beginners.
- Ownership: You take home the artwork created during the session.
Logistics
- Setting: Communal table arrangement to encourage socializing.
- F&B: Food and drinks are not included and must be ordered from the hosting cafe.

Why We Exist
Finding real friends as an adult? It's not easy, yaar. We started Small World because screens can't replace actual laughter in a room or the energy of meeting new people. Hum toh bas bolte hain - IRL is always better than URL.
What Happens Here
We set up different kinds of meetups so you can drop the small talk and just vibe:
- Creative group workshops like painting, clay modeling, and pizza-making. It's not about being Picasso, it's about getting messy and making memories.
- Speed friending sessions - you get to chat with a bunch of people quickly, maybe find your next gym partner or someone who gets your weird jokes.
- Coffee conversation meetups, or as we say, 'Chai = endless Charcha'. No agenda, just real talk over a steaming cup.
- Dance socials, music jams, and masti. Expect local artists, silly games, and our famous 'Aakhon Ki Masti' staring challenge.

My Story
We saw folks glued to screens, even when together. It got weird, yaar. That quote about Instagram hit us hard - people searching for moments just to post. So we kicked off Small World, trying to get folks to vibe IRL. Met Sheetal at our Kintsugi workshop, she said 'zindagi kaisi bhi ho, humko jeena padta hai' (life is life, gotta live it). Watching her fix that cup showed us - broken bits can be beautiful. We’re not chasing perfect, we’re here for real, cracks and all.
