Medical-Grade Chemical Peels & Skin Renewal
Skip the salon shortcuts. I provide science-backed chemical peels and expert skin education designed to tackle acne, pigmentation, and dullness without the guesswork.
A chemical peel is an effective way to reset your skin and reveal a more youthful glow. In this treatment, a solution is applied to gently exfoliate dead surface cells, which helps to reduce fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and other imperfections for a smoother, revitalized complexion.
Collagen is the protein that gives your skin its structure and firmness. This graphic explains its key benefits, which include promoting youthful skin, supporting joint health, and strengthening hair and nails. Many of my treatments are designed to stimulate your body's natural collagen production.
Ever wondered about hyaluronic acid? This short video explains what it is and why it's a hero ingredient for hydration. It clarifies that despite the name "acid," it has a pH similar to your skin and does not burn, making it a safe and essential component for maintaining moisture.
About Skin Renewal & Education
At Skin Summit, a chemical peel is never just a surface exfoliation. The process begins with a medical-grade skin analysis to select the right acid—Salicylic for acne, or Glycolic for radiance—and always finishes with a clinical neutralization step. This crucial phase ensures the chemical reaction stops exactly when intended, protecting your skin barrier and preventing the irritation often caused by salon-grade treatments.
Why Medical Peels Matter
Most skin concerns like stubborn pigmentation or acne require more than a standard facial. When you visit a clinic, you get precision. I use pH-controlled acids that penetrate the skin to a specific depth, which is impossible with unregulated salon products.
The Process
- Skin Analysis & Prep: We start by assessing your skin type and concerns. A degreasing solution is used to strip surface oils, ensuring the acid penetrates evenly.
- Controlled Application: I apply the peel for a strict 3 to 7 minute window. During this time, I monitor for frosting, which is a visual sign that the acid is working correctly.
- Neutralization: We apply a bicarbonate spray to immediately halt the reaction. This step is what makes the treatment safe and predictable.
Skincare Education
Beyond treatments, part of my role is clearing up myths. Take Hyaluronic Acid (HA), for instance. It is often misunderstood as a burning agent because of the word acid. In reality, it has a pH very similar to your skin and is essential for moisture retention. Similarly, collagen production is not just about topical creams, but about stimulating your skin's natural repair mechanisms.
Whether you are dealing with texture issues or just want a refreshed look, we focus on safe, effective results. You can find our clinic in Rajajinagar, where we prioritize your skin health over quick fixes.
