A strong digestive fire is the foundation of well-being. We use traditional techniques to calm the gut and restore internal balance.

Udara Abhyanga, or Ayurvedic stomach massage, is a gentle yet powerful therapy. It helps balance the doshas in the abdominal area, aids digestion, and can even facilitate the release of stored emotional stress, contributing to overall well-being.

This graphic explains the gut-brain axis, a concept well-known in Ayurveda. Your stress and emotional state directly affect your digestion, which is why my treatments always address both mind and body for complete healing.

Cumin, or 'Jeera', is a wonderful spice for stimulating the digestive fire. I often recommend it in diets and our herbal tea blends to enhance digestion and boost a sluggish metabolism naturally.

Asafoetida, or 'Hing', is known in Ayurveda as the "food of the gods" for its potent digestive benefits. It is excellent for alleviating gas and bloating, making it a key spice for restoring gut comfort.

Ajwain, or Carom Seeds, is another small but powerful spice I use. It is a fantastic natural remedy for indigestion and bloating and also offers benefits for respiratory health.

About Restoring Digestive Health

The gut-brain axis is a primary focus in our clinic. We often find that persistent digestive issues like bloating or acidity are not just about food intake, but about how daily stress directly impacts your Agni or digestive fire.
