Festival & Celebration Mehendi Designs
From the rituals of Karwa Chauth to the joy of Navratri, I create mehendi that adds color to your celebrations. Let's make your special day a little more vibrant with authentic, story-driven art.
A happy client showing off her Karwa Chauth mehendi. The design features a woman holding a sieve, a classic symbol of the festival, created with my organic henna.
A special design sketch for Tulsi Habba. This festival celebrates the sacred Tulsi plant, and I love creating patterns that honor our beautiful traditions.
A design sketch I created for Ganesh Chaturthi. It features Lord Ganesha in the palm, with a decorated elephant on the wrist, celebrating the remover of obstacles.
My sketch for Makar Sankranti, a festival of harvest and new beginnings. The design includes a sacred cow and a kalash, representing prosperity and abundance.
A mehendi design of Goddess Durga, created for Navratri. This intricate portrait is my way of paying homage to the divine feminine during the nine nights of celebration.
A detailed view of a Karwa Chauth mehendi. One hand shows the traditional sieve motif, while the other has a beautiful personalized message for the couple.
A collage showing the Karwa Chauth design and the happy client. It brings me so much joy to see my art become a part of your cherished traditions.
About this collection
I blend traditional motifs with the specific needs of your festival, whether it's a sieve design for Karwa Chauth, Ganesha sketches for Ganesh Chaturthi, or floral patterns for Tulsi Habba. I use only pure, organic henna mixed with essential oils, and finish every application with the traditional clove smoke (Dhupam) technique to ensure a rich, dark stain that lasts through your entire celebration.
Your Festival, Your Story
Mehendi is a language of love, and I believe every festival brings a new chapter to write. Whether it is a traditional Tulsi Habba, the energetic nine nights of Navratri, or the harvest spirit of Makar Sankranti, I customize my designs to honor the occasion.
Why Organic Henna Matters
For festivals, you often wear mehendi for hours or even days as the stain deepens. Because I prepare my own henna cones using triple-sifted Sojat powder and essential oils, you get a chemical-free, safe experience that is gentle on your skin. The deep, mahogany stain typically matures over 48 hours, making it perfect for multi-day celebrations.
Customization for Your Occasion
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all. If you have a specific festival motif in mind—like a deity, a traditional symbol, or even a personalized script—we can weave it into your design.
- Karwa Chauth: I specialize in the classic sieve and moon motifs, often paired with custom text.
- Navratri/Ganesh Chaturthi: I love incorporating intricate portraits of Goddess Durga or Lord Ganesha, blending devotional art with aesthetic mehendi flow.
- Sankranti: I enjoy working with agricultural symbols like the sacred cow or kalash to represent prosperity.
Since I travel across Bengaluru and Chikkaballapur for events, let me know your festival date early so we can plan the perfect design for your gathering.
