About this collection
I do not just supply the hardware. For every intercom installation, I make sure the internal wiring in the EPABX panel is labeled and properly crimped so you do not face line disturbances or cross-talk later. If you are setting up a system for a building or an office, tell me the number of points and I will suggest the right capacity Galaxy EPABX unit for your specific layout.
Communication within an office or a residential complex needs to be straightforward and error-free. I stick to Galaxy EPABX panels and Beetle phones because they are robust and have low failure rates.
The Setup Process
When I come for an installation, I handle the full scope:
- Panel Mounting: Fixing the EPABX controller in a secure, accessible location to prevent dust or moisture damage.
- Wiring: Running the cabling from the central panel to each individual room or flat. I use proper PVC junctions to keep connections safe.
- Terminal Connection: Each port is wired to the specific station. I test every single line before I leave to ensure the audio clarity is perfect.
- System Configuration: Programming the extension numbers and testing the ringing logic so the right phone connects to the right room.
Choosing Your Capacity
People often buy a panel that is too small for their needs. If you are running a 20-flat apartment or a 10-room office, you need to account for future additions. I suggest calculating your current requirement and adding a 20% buffer for spare lines. Whether you need a simple 8-line setup or a larger 48-line system, I keep the stock ready for immediate installation.
