About The Groom's Story
The best groom portraits don't happen in the fifteen minutes before leaving; they happen during the actual getting-ready process. We prefer to start early, documenting the quiet prayers, the help from brothers, or the shared nervous energy with friends, rather than just posing for a static photo in a sherwani.
Posing for photos can feel unnatural, especially when you are already dealing with wedding day nerves. We use a mix of candid and guided portraiture to take the pressure off. Instead of asking you to 'smile at the camera,' we focus on the interaction: adjusting your watch, fixing a pocket square, or a laugh with your family. This keeps the energy real and the photos looking like they belong in a storybook, not a studio.
We pay close attention to the details that define your look. Whether it is the texture of your sherwani, the intricate work on your safa, or the specific family heirloom you might be wearing, we ensure these elements are framed beautifully. For our portrait shots, we look for natural light or use cinematic lighting setups to create a moody, sharp look that highlights your style without feeling over-processed.
When it comes to family moments, we look for the pride in your father's eyes or the playful teasing from your siblings while they help you get ready. These scenes often make for the most emotional images in your album. If you have specific ideas about a location, like a fort in Jaipur or a modern setup in Delhi, we are happy to adapt our lighting and composition to match the vibe of your venue.
