Experience the royal charm of Rajasthan with my signature Marwadi mehndi. I bring traditional elegance to your hands with intricate peacock, palace, and jaal work.

A classic Rajasthani design featuring majestic peacocks within ornate 'jharokha' (window) patterns. The dense work and traditional motifs are perfect for a royal bridal look.

This design showcases a majestic elephant, a symbol of royalty and good fortune in Indian culture. The surrounding patterns are a mix of floral and geometric elements, creating a rich and balanced look.

An architectural design inspired by Rajasthani palaces. The intricate arches and jaali work create a sense of grandeur, perfect for a bride who loves traditional art.

A beautiful example of 'jaal' or grid-based design. The repeating floral pattern creates a stunning, cloth-like effect on the back of the hand.

This video shows the satisfying process of filling in a geometric grid pattern. This technique requires immense patience and a steady hand, resulting in a flawless finish.

A full bridal design featuring traditional Rajasthani elements like elephants, lotuses, and portraits, all woven together with intricate patterns.

A classic and elegant design for both hands, featuring a central mandala with delicate, repeating patterns. This style is timeless and perfect for any celebration.

About this collection

To get that deep, dark stain traditional Marwadi designs are known for, I use a custom mix of natural henna, eucalyptus, and clove oil. I apply a lemon-sugar sealant spray immediately after, so you do not have to worry about the design flaking off too soon. Just let it sit for a few hours to develop that rich, maroon color.

When I work on traditional Rajasthani and Marwadi designs, my focus is on the density and the flow of the motifs. These styles are defined by their royal look, featuring majestic peacocks, elephants, and intricate palace-inspired jharokha architecture. Unlike modern minimalist patterns, this style requires immense patience because the jaal or grid work must be perfectly symmetrical to look clean.

I use only 100% natural, organic henna for these pieces. The beauty of these designs lies in the contrast between the thick, bold lines of the elephants or peacocks and the fine, delicate fillers that weave them together. Whether you want a full-arm bridal look or a slightly simpler version for a Sangeet, these patterns carry a timeless, classic feel that never goes out of style.

Many clients ask me if these heavy designs are comfortable. The secret is in the prep. Since these designs cover a large surface area and take time to apply, I ensure the henna paste is smooth and cool. I also recommend my clients avoid water for at least 8 to 12 hours after application to let the color reach its deepest, darkest maroon potential. If you love the grandeur of Indian culture, these patterns are the best way to wear it on your hands.

For me, mehndi is more than just decoration. It is a meditation that requires absolute patience. When I design these traditional Rajasthani patterns, I pour my heart into every peacock feather and palace arch because I know how much this art means to a bride.
