About Our Happy Brides & Their Stories
The most rewarding part of my day is the moment a bride sees her mehendi for the first time. To ensure that the henna stains as deep and rich as it looks in these photos, I always suggest keeping the design dry for at least 12 hours after application. This simple step helps the natural ingredients settle and gives you that long-lasting, deep color that survives the entire wedding week.
More Than Just Patterns
When I work with a bride, I am not just applying henna. I am capturing a chapter of her life. Over the last 25 years, I have learned that the mehendi ceremony is often the first time a bride truly relaxes before the chaos of the wedding days begins.
My focus is on creating a space where you feel comfortable. Whether we are sketching out your love story, drawing portraits of your family, or adding traditional motifs like peacocks and jharokhas, the goal is to make the design uniquely yours.
Preparing for Your Mehendi
If you are planning your own ceremony, here is a bit of advice from my years of work:
- Skin Prep: Avoid heavy lotions or oils on your hands and feet a day before the application. Clean, dry skin absorbs henna much better.
- The Waiting Game: Patience is key. The darker the henna, the more the design stands out in your wedding photos. Plan your mehendi at least 24 to 48 hours before the main functions.
- Personal Touches: If you want your love story, dates, or family portraits included, share these with me in advance. It helps me prepare the composition so that everything flows naturally on your hands.
I travel across Delhi NCR for bookings, and I am always happy to discuss how we can mix traditional and modern elements to match your personal style.
