About Traditional Bridal Designs

A traditional design is only as good as the henna used to create it. I mix my own henna paste using only natural ingredients to ensure that signature deep, dark stain that stays vibrant throughout your wedding festivities. When you choose a traditional bridal look, you are opting for timeless motifs like peacocks, domes, and elaborate jaal work that look stunning in photos.

My approach to traditional bridal mehndi is rooted in the precision of the line and the quality of the stain. In my 20 years of work, I have found that the classic Rajasthani and Marwari styles remain the gold standard for a reason. They carry symbols of prosperity, family, and love, which is why I take my time with every curve of a peacock or the delicate detailing of a jharokha (window motif).

When we work on your hands and feet, my team and I focus on balance. We maintain the density of the design so it looks full without feeling cluttered. I handle the key figures and complex motifs myself, while my assistant handles the geometric fills, ensuring that the final result is consistent from fingertips to elbows.

I believe in transparency regarding the process. We will cover the hands up to the elbows and feet up to the ankles, ensuring a cohesive look that complements your bridal outfit. Because I use 100% natural, self-mixed henna, you don't have to worry about harsh chemicals affecting your skin. Whether you want to include specific elements like a doli or baraat scene, we will plan it during our initial consultation to make sure the final pattern is exactly how you envisioned it.

I have spent over 20 years perfecting these traditional patterns, drawing every peacock and elephant with the same focus I had when I first started. To me, these aren't just designs; they are stories written in henna. I want your bridal mehndi to be as deep and lasting as the traditions you are stepping into.
