Handcrafted Organic Mehendi Designs
I personally craft my own organic mehendi cones for a rich, dark stain that lasts. Whether you want intricate bridal patterns or elegant, modern designs, I focus on the details that make your hands look stunning.
I love how this Arabic mehendi design came out. The bold outlines combined with the delicate, intricate patterns inside create such a stunning contrast on the hands. This is a perfect look for any festive occasion.
This video shows the complete journey of my mehendi, from the fresh paste to the rich, dark stain 18 hours later. I use my own organic henna paste which guarantees you get that deep 'pakka' color everyone loves, without any harmful chemicals.
Creating a perfectly symmetrical mandala requires a very steady hand and a lot of focus. I enjoy making these intricate designs, starting from a single point in the center of the palm and watching the pattern grow outwards.
The secret to getting those 'ekdum barik' or super fine lines is my homemade organic cone. You can see here how smoothly the paste flows, allowing me to create miniature details and complex patterns with precision.
A quick look back at some of my favorite older mehendi designs. This shows a variety of styles I've done, from full coverage traditional patterns to personalized designs with initials, like the 'SG' you can spot in one of them.
About Featured
Because I make my own organic mehendi paste from scratch, the freshness is guaranteed, but I do recommend booking your slot a few days early. It ensures I have enough time to prepare a fresh batch, which is the secret to that deep, dark stain you see in my photos.
My Approach to Mehendi
I treat every hand as a canvas. When I apply mehendi, I am looking for clean, flowing lines—what we call 'barik' or miniature work. My style ranges from traditional, heavy-filled Indian patterns to modern Arabic vines and minimalist mandalas.
The Organic Difference
You might have noticed that I do not use 'market cones'. Most store-bought cones are packed with chemicals to get a quick colour, which often fades into an orange shade or causes skin irritation. I mix my own organic henna powder with eucalyptus or lavender oil. This process takes more time, but it results in a deep maroon or dark brown colour that develops over 24 to 48 hours. It is safer for your skin and smells fresh, not like artificial dye.
Customization for Your Event
- Bridal & Intricate Work: If you want a full-coverage design, I focus on heavy-filled peacocks, check patterns, and personalized symbols. I can even hide your partner's initials in the design.
- Guest Mehendi: For larger events, I switch to speed-optimized patterns like flowing Arabic vines or mandalas so everyone gets a chance to enjoy the art without waiting too long.
- Location: I am based in Thane West, but I am happy to travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area for your wedding or event.
If you have a reference image or a specific vibe in mind, please share it. I am always happy to adapt my style to match what you love.
