An 8-day inward journey to the source of the Ganga, blending high-altitude Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, and silent mountain treks to help you reconnect with your own rhythm.

Our Himalayan yoga retreat is an invitation to embark on an inward journey of rediscovery. This video captures the essence of our 8-day pilgrimage, tracing a path through majestic, snow-capped peaks and alongside the sacred Ganga river, where the high prana of the mountains revitalizes the mind, body, and soul.

Practicing Hanumanasana, the splits pose, by the water's edge under a vast sky. This moment from one of our retreats shows how we work towards advanced asanas with patience, using the serene energy of nature to support our practice and deepen our connection to the body.

Backbends are invigorating postures that open the heart and build strength. This collection shows our practice of various backbends like Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose) and Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon Pose) in different natural settings, from rocky hilltops to lush fields, demonstrating how to practice safely and joyfully.

About this collection

The air changes up there, and so does your practice. At 2,600 meters in the Harsil valley, your breath feels different; we don't rush through asanas, we align our movement with the slower rhythm of the mountains to help you actually deepen your pranayama and find stillness.

Why We Go To The Himalayas

Most of us live in a state of constant motion, especially in cities like Bangalore. We curate these 8-day Himalayan retreats not as an escape, but as a container for 'Sadhana'—a dedicated practice. When you remove the daily noise and step into the high-prana environment of the Harsil valley or the banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh, you aren't just doing yoga; you are allowing your nervous system to reset.

What To Expect

This is a journey for anyone seeking depth, whether you are a beginner or a long-time practitioner. Our daily rhythm is simple but intentional:

  • Morning Practice: Vigorous Hatha Yoga and Pranayama sessions held outdoors. We focus on alignment and breath, not just how the pose looks.
  • Mid-Day Integration: Mindful hikes through the mountains or visits to local temples. Walking is, in itself, a form of meditation.
  • Evening Restorative: Yin Yoga, chanting, or guided meditation to settle the body and mind before the mountain night.

The Logistics Of The Path

We keep our groups small to ensure a supportive environment where we can actually learn from one another. Accommodation is in boutique mountain guest houses and heritage properties where you can wake up to the sound of the river, not traffic. Meals are fresh, local, and vegetarian.

We provide the private ground transport from Dehradun, but remember that the mountains demand a certain respect—please bring adequate high-altitude gear and sturdy trekking shoes. This is an invitation to do the work, to walk the path, and to find the light that is already within you.
