About District Court Litigation
Jail is an obligation, but bail is your legal right. When I take a case, I am physically present at the police station to ensure due process is followed. My practice is not about paperwork in an office, it is about being in court, negotiating with investigating officers, and fighting for your freedom.
District courts are where the real fight begins. I handle matters in Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, and Shahdara, managing everything from urgent bail applications to complex trial proceedings. My focus is always on securing results, not just filing papers.
I review the charge sheet, FIR, and witness statements before every hearing. For criminal defense, I execute the strategy through aggressive cross-examination of prosecution witnesses. In civil suits, I focus on strong drafting, including detailed petitions, affidavits, and arguing for interim relief like stay orders.
I know the Delhi legal ecosystem inside out. If you are dealing with a property dispute or a criminal charge, you need someone who understands the police procedures and the court registry process. I do not use junior associates for substantive hearings. I represent you personally. My goal is to stand for you when things get difficult.
Prashant Katyan
I did not come from a big legal family. I built my practice through grit, long days at Delhi University, and hours spent navigating the courts of Delhi. When you hire me, you are not getting a lawyer in a glass office, you are getting someone who knows the ground reality and fights for his clients like family.
