My Dog Training Philosophy: A Relationship-Based Approach

Training is not about control, it is about connection. My philosophy focuses on you becoming the role model your dog needs, turning everyday moments into opportunities to strengthen your bond.

What's the best way to build your dog's confidence? By being a confident leader for them yourself!

I always say, lead by example! Your dog looks to you for guidance in everything. If you are calm and confident, they are more likely to be as well.

Remember, your dog looks up to you for guidance in new and scary situations. Being their trusted leader is the most important role you can play.

A reward is anything your dog finds rewarding! For Brandy here, it's popcorn. Understanding what truly motivates your dog is the key to successful, positive training.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your own mental health is to get out of your head and just spend some quality time with your dog. Their presence is so therapeutic!

It's fun to treat our dogs like little humans, but it's important to remember they are a different species. Understanding 'anthropomorphism' helps us communicate with them more effectively.

My entire platform was created with one aim: to improve the relationship and understanding between pet parents and their dogs.

I'm so grateful that in the last year, I've had the privilege to work with over 90 dogs across 21 cities and 3 countries through my online members portal!

365 days later, and my pack keeps growing! I'm so proud of every single dog and owner I've worked with.

The reach of online training is incredible! It allows me to help dogs and their families no matter where they are in the world.

About My Training Philosophy

Truth is, there is no magic wand here. Training requires you to put in the effort, even on the days you are tired and your dog is just not having it. I do not promise overnight fixes because real change takes consistency, not just a few tricks. My approach centers on helping you become your dog's leader so they start looking to you for direction, not because they have to, but because they want to.
